The April 7, 1958 issue of Boxoffice reported, “The new 354-car capacity Glacier Drive-In opened Friday, March 28, with "Legion of the Lost”. Paul Cory, owner-operator, said that all April features and shorts would be in color. … The screen picture area is 91x56 feet. Entrance to the theatre, located approximately one-half mile west of Laurel on U. S. 10 is at the west end of the installation".
The Glacier Drive-In first appeared in the Motion Picture Almanac’s annual list in the 1960 edition, capacity 300, owner Paul Corey. In 1962, Robert Parker & Dale Korte. In 1963, the owner changed to Norman H. Willson. The Glacier Drive-In fell off the MPA list in the 1977 edition, though it may have closed years earlier.
The drive-in was intact in a 1969 aerial photo, but was gone by 1981.
