The three story Lininger Block was constructed in 1877. As built, the lower stories contained a variety of businesses, and the third floor was a Knights of Pythias lodge hall.

The 1907 map shows the northern half of the ground floor home to ‘Moving Pictures’. This space was a jeweler in 1895. By 1914, the entire building is used as storage. After having suffered some unsympathetic remodels, the building was partially restored in 2010, and is home to a craft shop.
