Located in the city centre district of Innenstadt. The Berolina Filmtheater was opened in 1957 and was operated by Robert Weinert. It was designed by architects C.H. Isken & L. Kreutzer. The seats were by Stussel and the B 8B projectors were by Bauer. A 4-channel stereophonic sound system and a Perpecta sound system were installed.
In 1971 it was re-named Berolina Filmkunsttheater. In 1993 it was taken over by the Ufa chain who re-named in Ufa Berolina. It was closed in 1999. The cinema became a discotheque named D-Sign. It later became a bar named Berolina which still operates in 2020.
