Roxy site today – 2022 photo by Martin Jaul. In the early 1960s a suitable venue was being sought for the Springwood District Citizens Boys and Girls Club. The group leased the theater in late 1963, purchasing it the following year. By that time the Brakelite screen, C & W projectors, Raycophone sound equipment and theater seating had all been removed.
