Built at the end of 1928, the Hazelbrook Scouts’ Hall functioned as a part-time cinema for its first 10 years, usually in conjunction with nearby Lawson Mechanics. The building has been an antique shop, church, clothing factory, and many other things over the years. It only just managed to avoid demolition when road widening took place, with what was once likely the projection room having been demolished. The side extension wing in the foreground has been added since its days as a cinema. (Encouragement by Nauti Studios).
