Located in the district of Porz at the corner of Bahnhofstrasse and Muehlenstrasse. The Scala Lichtspiele Porzer Hof was opened in 1917. There is no information whether the cinema was closed or destroyed during Wold War II. In 1950 it was operated by Peter William Quaback. In 1959 it was operated by Kurt Wolf. There was a stage in front of the screen measuring 12x16 meters. The AP XII projectors were by Askanika. The size of the screen was 3.5x8 meters. The seats were by Stussel and later in 1959 were replaced by Schroeder & Henzelmann seats. The cinema was closed in 1971.
There were other Scala cinemas in Koln: The Scala Filmtheater located at Herzogstrasse 9 in the district of Altstadt-Nord and the Scala am Ring Filmtheater located at Hohenzollernring 48 in the district of Neustadt-Nord (both of these have their own pages on Cinema Treasures).
