Opened in March of 1920, the American Theatre was only listed from March until April of 1920 according to the newspaper and was not listed in 1921. It was listed in the 1926 edition of Film Daily Yearbook. In the 1931 edition of F.D.Y. as a silent movie theatre. It had gone from listings by 1932.
