The Camera Filmtheater was opened in 1955 and was operated by Kurt Risse and Gerhard Kotting. It was designed to the plans of architect E. Erkennt based in Unna. The FH 66 projectors were by Frieske & Hoepfner. The size of the CinemaScope screen was 7.5x4 meters. The size of the stage is 10'5x4 meters.
