Theatorium

The Theatorium appears on the 1907 map as a ‘5𝇍 Theatre’. It was located in an old two story brick commercial building constructed sometime before 1887. On the 1902 map, this section serves as a carriage repository.

In March 1908 the Theatorium was operated by A.S. Miller and operated 5 shows a day. The theatre remains in operation on the 1913 map and was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory. It had gone from listings by 1926. Unfortunately, newer maps are not available, but this entire quarter block has long since been destroyed and replaced by a parking lot.
