The MoJac Motor In Movies opened in October of 1952 under the same ownership of the town’s Regent Theatre and Honey Theatre. When it reopened for its first full season, its name was the more conventional MoJac Drive-In. By 1955 it was operated by B.F. Jackson & Mrs. P.E. Morris. In April 1960 it was taken over by Gulf States Theatres,
The theatre closed after ten years of operation on September 7, 1962 with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodard in “From the Terrace”. Though it promised to be back in the Spring, a farm implement dealer took over the operation ending its run.
