This theatre appears on the 1921 Sanborn, operating in a 2-story brick commercial building constructed sometime after 1892. In 1910, the space was vacant. The Fowler Theatre was listed in the 1926 edition of Film Daily Yearbook. It had closed by 1927. A new Fowler Theatre was opened at 111 E. 5th Street on March 1, 1940.
Unfortunately, later maps are not digitized, but this appears to have reverted to retail by the 1940’s. As with most of downtown, it is in rather poor condition, but it is possibly being used as a residence.

Fowler was a very popular name. Prior to its extensive remodel, the Masonic Temple at 219 E 5th was home to a Fowler theater, previously the Mathews, which seems to have been an opera house.
