The 1921 map shows this small theatre operating in one of the storefronts on the ground floor of a massive three-story brick commercial building that extended nearly half of the block.
The building was constructed before 1886 as Nowel’s House, a hotel which occupied the second and third floors of most of the space. The theatre space was vacant in 1909. The theatre occupied the storefront just to the east of the lobby, although by 1921 the hotel seems to have closed. The theatre had gone by 1926 and was replaced by a store. Sadly, the building was demolished long ago to be replaced by a parking lot.
