1. Dave Lutzer and Jake H. Lutzer. of the Lutzer Brothers Circuit opened the new-build Ritz Theatre on November 10, 1939 with Laurel & Hardy in “The Flying Deuces”. It was managed by Jerry and Bonnie Stout. In October of 1954, the theatre was equipped with a new widescreen to present CinemaScope films. It appears to have ceased operations on December 22, 1962 with the building offered for sale.
