The Rex Theatre was opened on April 18, 1936.
Once the nearby Eris Theatre in Goodwater grew into a bigger audience throughout the late-1940’s and into the 1950’s, the Rex Theatre had its last straw on continuing its operation until closing in 1951 and the original phone number “4101” for the Rex Theatre later shifted to the popular Eris Theatre a block away.

UPDATE: I Found The Actual Opening Date To The Rex Theatre. The Rex Theatre Opened On April 18th, 1936 According To The Goodwater Enterprise.
