The Lakewood Theater was opened as a live theater on June 15, 1901 with a production of “The Private Secretary”. In 1913 & 1914 it was presenting movies & vaudeville. Since then it has operated as a Summer Stock live theater. Seating is provided for 337 in the orchestra & 286 in the balcony.
