On December 7, 1964, Boxoffice reported the death of exhibitor W.A. Struss, who had built the Orphic Theatre in Columbus in 1929.
The 1950 Film Daily Year Book listed the Orphis (sic) and the Oaks for Columbus, both on Main Street. The Orphis was shown with 500 seats.
