This theater appears on the 1910 Sanborn, located in a rather oddly-shaped two-story brick structure constructed sometime before 1887. This was separated from the large bank building on the corner to the east by a narrow alley, but the front half closed off the alley, and was a small retail space that protruded into the rest of the building. This would have created a bit of an awkward theater space.
On the 1901 map, there was a saloon in the main section. This was probably a hasty conversion to catch the cinema fad, and by 1920, the space has become a poolroom. The building was demolished by around 1940-1950, to be replaced by the current structure.
