The 1907 Sanborn shows ‘Moving Pictures’ operating in a two-story wooden building. This had been constructed sometime between 1886 and 1892, as part of a row of simple wooden businesses of one and two stories. The 1899 map shows this particular structure as a bicycle repair shop.
Although the conversion to a theatre was doubtless very basic, a large wooden awning was added to the front of the building. This was not a successful operation, and the structure is vacant on the 1914 map. The entire central portion of the block was destroyed many years ago and replaced by a parking lot.
