The Colonial Theatre was opened in August 1913. It was still open in 1957. It was destroyed by fire in 1971.

An item datelined Bicknell, Indiana, in the August 16, 1913 issue of The Moving Picture World said that “[t]he new Colonial Theater on No. Main Street has just opened for business.”
A comment on the “If You Grew Up in Bicknell” Facebook page says that the Colonial Theatre was destroyed by a fire in 1971.
