Meilhan

Located adjacent to the (now demolished) Capitole Cinema Theatre/UGC Capitole. The Meihan was opened on 15th December 1949. It was designed to the plans of architects Georges Peynet, Louis Poutu & Josef Lajonie. It was closed in 1976.

The building was converted into a hotel and a discotheque/bar named The New Can Can, which has its entrance around the corner on Rue Senac de Meilhan.
