Drakkar Cinema

Located in the town of Yvetot, northern France, to the northwest of Rouen. The 700-seat Drakkar Cinema was opened in 1963 with Natalie Wood in “West Side Story” presented in 70mm. All seating was on a stadium seating plan, with a raised stepped section at the rear. Interior decorations were by Michel Lagnel. It was equipped with 35mm & 70mm & Todd-AO projection. It later became a 4-screen cinema which closed in 2018 and was ‘For Sale’ in June 2019.
