Opened on May 8, 1952 with colour cartoons(not named), Randolph Scott in “Man in the Saddle” & Frankie Laine in “Sunny Side of the Street”. Closed in 1971. Demolished(date unknown?). The site is now Value Home Centre and Ames Department store(now closed).

Why was it called Corning?

Corning Glass Company was the major employer in the area. This drive in was just outside the City of Corning, NY.
