Capitol Cinema

Located on the 10th floor of the Joy City Mall in Xidan, Xicheng district in Beijing, close to the Metro line 4 at Xidan station exit F1. This is a replacement for the 1938 built Capitol Cinema located on Chang'an Avenue which has been demolished and has its own page on Cinema Treasures.

It is one of the largest digital projection cinemas in northern China and was built as part of the Joy City Mall as a modern multiplex, with one VIP screen and three business class screens. In December 2018 the first 14 meters wide Samsung Onyx Cinema LED screen was installed.
