Caledonian Baths

Located in the inner north London district of Kings Cross at the length of Caledonian Road between Twyford Street to Stanmore Street. The Caledonian Baths was an imposing public baths building, dating from the late-1800’s. It was known in the early-1900’s to have the pool boarded over and screened films. Nothing listed as a cinema in 1914 or 1923. During World War II it was used as a first aid station.

It has been demolished and the Cally Pool and Gym now stand on the site. It has two swimming pools and a gymnasium.
