Located to the north of the city centre of Kingston upon Hull, Humberside. The Waterloo Cinema was opened on 27th December 1920. It had a 26ft wide proscenium. Around 1930 it was equipped with a Pearlamb sound system, which by 1944 had been replaced by a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system.

The Waterloo Cinema was closed on 1st October 1959. It was converted into the Waterloo Bingo Club. In 1977 the building badly damaged in a fire. It was demolished in 1980 and housing built on the site.
