Located in Pendlebury, to the south of Swinton, Lancashire. The Picture Theatre was opened prior to 1927. The proscenium was 30ft wide, the stage 7ft deep and there were two dressing rooms. Around 1930 it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system and had been re-named Palace Cinema. It was still open in 1963, but had closed by 1966 and was converted into a bingo club. It has since been demolished.
