The Garden Theatre opened in 1914 for silent movies. A fire destroyed the interior early in 1916. The building became a warehouse.

As of 2021, the building, long a warehouse, is now a towing service. On its rear façade and right-hand side-wall, there are faded letters that still seem to say ‘Garden’.
