Hilton Hall opened in(1928 or 1929?) on the site of a former open air cinema. Opened as Lyric Theatre on 7th April 1937. Also known as Soliders' Memorial Hall. Renamed Windsor Theatre in February 1948. Screened Greek films in later years.
Name changed in 1962 when the building was combined with the Baptist church next door(name unknown), and became a live theatre venue called Theatre 62. Name changed to Star Theatre 1 and Star Theatre 2 in 2002. Still operating as a live theatre venue.
