Lyric Airdome

This theater appears on the 1923 Sanborn, on a lot that had been home to a boarding house at least as recently as 1913. This was a standard airdome, with a wooden fence enclosing the lot and a small tin-clad wooden stage at the rear. The front fence was set well back from the street.

The current building bears the number 319, which originally belonged to the large garage next door. It dates from 1940, although the airdome was surely long gone by then.
