Opened by 1931 as the 235-seat Dream Theatre, operated by Clyde and Aidria Humphrey until Clyde’s death in 1969. Reopened by Woodrow Wilson in November 1973 with 259 seats, a tornado destroyed the building a few months later. Wilson rebuilt the property to a 304 seat capacity.

The Mason Cinema was destroyed by a tornado during the April 3, 1974 Super Outbreak. Owner Woodrow Wilson (of course not the president) reopened the Mason Cinema on December 26, 1975. Mason Community Players Inc. moved into the theater building in November 1984, but the Mason Cinema continued to show movies alongside performing arts.
Address is 202 W Main Street. The theatre has been repurposed as a pizza restaurant called Two Cities. The old name Mason can clearly be seen at the top of the structure on Google Street View.
