Bennington, OK seems to have been ‘mislaid’ in trade publications. The 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory lists a Majestic Theatre and a Picture Show.
The Liberty Theatre was opened by 1926 when it was listed in that years' Film Daily Yearbook and was still listed in 1927. The town never appeared in listings after then, yet is is known that the Liberty Theatre later became the Bennington Theatre and was closed in December 1941.
