The Pastime Theatre was opened in February 1911. It first appears on the July 1913 Sanborn, operating in a one-story brick commercial building constructed sometime between 1901 and 1908, when the map shows it as a furniture store.
This theatre remained in operation on the 1923 map. A small stage shown in 1913 has disappeared, but this is likely just an omission by the surveyor. The building today is in good shape, and used as a thrift store.
Note that during its operation, the address was 118 Public Square, North Side.
In 1938 a new Pastime Theatre was built and opened at 18 S. Harris Street (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

I wonder if this house could have been Sandersville’s first Pastime Theatre? It was listed, without an address, in the 1914-1915 American Motion Picture Directory, and no other theaters were listed in the town.
That makes sense. I couldn’t find any others on either the 1908, 1913 or 1923 maps.
The NRHP registration form for the Sandersville Commercial and Industrial Historic District confirms that 116 Malone Street was the location of the original Pastime Theatre, opened in February, 1911. It moved to the Harris Street location in 1938.
