Anne Baxter did not appear in “The Vikings”, however here she is (left) at its Regent launch on 5th February 1959, putting her handprint in wet cement. This was not an unreasonable ‘tribute’, as two of her most famous films – “The Razor’s Edge” and “All About Eve” - had both screened at the Regent. On the right is a photo of her - 10 years earlier - with Gregory Peck and Sid Grauman himself, as she becomes immortal - carving her name outside the Chinese Theater Hollywood. (The present location of her Sydney handiwork is unknown – probably landfill somewhere).
