Majestic Theatre

This small theatre was opened in a storefront sometime before 1912, when it appears on the Sanborn map. This was your typical one story brick commercial building of the era. Conversion to a theatre involved creating an arched entry with a central ticket booth.

This theatre was closed in 1914 when a new purpose-built Majestic Theatre was constructed next door (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures). This building then reverted to retail use. It is a Mexican grocery store in 2021.
