According to the NRHP listing for the 200-seat Majestic Theatre it was opened by 1926. It soon superseded the towns' Iuka Theatre which never went over to talkies. The Majestic Theatre had closed in 1934, only to have reopened in 1935 with 250-seats. It was still open in 1950 when the seating capacity had been increased to 351. It was still open in 1957. It was a simple one-story brick storefront, fairly wide, with undistinguished architecture.

It was used for some time as a theatre, but by the late-1980’s, it was being used as offices for the bank next door. It is still visible on the 2014 street-view, but the satellite view shows that it has been demolished for a drive-through.
