The 1950 Film Daily Year Book listed only the Pastime Theatre, 250 seats, in tiny Grenola. By 1955 there were no theatres listed in Grenola in that years' Film Daily Yearbook.
On August 20, 1955, Boxoffice reported that Grenola’s Ace Theatre, run for several years by Bill Hudson, had closed on August 2.
The 1956 edition of Film Daily Yearbook has a Grenola Theatre listed, with no seating capacity. Same in 1957.
