Listed on Sanborn Maps 1916 as ”Moving Picture Theatre”, Manahan’s Rialto Theatre was advertised in the Calexico Chronicle From 1920 to 1929. In 1926 it was listed with 600-seats. An adjacent Rialto Airdome was opened on May 17 1923 with Pola Negri in “Bella Donna”.
Film Daily Year Book 1932 lists the 400-seat Rialto Theatre as closed.
It may have been the New Lyceum Theatre listed in American Motion Picture Directory 1914-15, on 2nd Street?

It opened as The Rialto Airdome Theatre on May 17, 1923 with Paramount’s “Bella Donna”.
