Located in the seaside town of Cleethorpes, east Lincolnshire on Victoria Terrace which no longer exists, adjacent to the Railway Station.
Originally built as a roller skating rink, known as the Rinkeries. The building was constructed of wood, which was tar-coated. It was converted into the Royal Kinema Palace in May 1912. The building was destroyed by fire on 12th August 1919.
The Theatre Royal (later Royal Cinema) was opened on the site in 1921 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures)
