Hamilton Theater

The Hamilton was a theatre my friends and family members spent many a Saturday or Sunday afternoon attending the latest Hercules or Samuel Arkof AIP offering. I was crushed when on one day I opened the morning Inquire to see what was playing at the Hamilton that day only to see nothing listed. I found it odd but never thought the worst but soon found out the worst, that it was closed and soon to become a church. HOW DARE THEY!! My beloved Hamilton theatre closed down, never again was I to sit in the dark or duck behind a seat in front of me to hide from whatever monster came lurking toward its next hapless victim and I was damned sure it wasn’t gonna get me!

Oh well, we had other theatre choices but for a long time following the Hamilton closure there remained a hole in my heart.
