Said to be the largest theatre in the Emirates, Cinema City Al Qana opened September 25, 2022, and was covered by UAE news outlets.
There are over 1,800 recliners among the 15 screens. Included are three VIP auditoriums, a Presidential Theatre, a Kids Cinema and a 336-seat XXL screen, which is over 85-feet wide.
Playing a combination of Arabic and English Language films, the most notable was a re-release of James Cameron’s “Avatar”.
Cinemacity has three restaurants, serving Japanese, Italian and the sandwich and pastry Backlot Café.
