Located in the Stonehouse section of the city centre, adjacent to the Grand Theatre (which still stands in 2022). The Theatre de Luxe was opened in 1909 by the Electric Theatres (1908) Ltd. chain of cinemas. It operated into the 1920’s.
Since demolished, by 2022 a block of flats named David Southgate House was occupying the site.
