Opened as the Pitcher Show on July 13, 1984 with Burt Reynolds in “Cannonball Run II” & Robert Redford in “The Natural”. It was later renamed Bobe Sound Twin Cinema. On October 4, 1985, it changed its name to Market Place Cinema. It closed on July 19, 1990 due to unpaid taxes of $1,304.70. The final movies screened were Peter Weller in “Robocop 2” & Zach Galligan in “Gremlins 2: The New Batch”.

This actually opened on July 13, 1984 with “Cannonball II” in Screen 1 and “The Natural” in Screen 2, and closed on July 19, 1990 with “Robocop 2” in Screen 1 and “Gremlins 2: The New Batch” in Screen 2.
