Located in the Shelby Plaza strip mall. The Shelby 1 & 2 was opened on June 26, 1974 with Michael Caine in “The Black Windmill” & a censored version of the animated feature “The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat”. It was closed on June 23, 1983 with two double featurs in each screen: “The Man From Snowy River & "Without a Trace” in screen 1 and “Rocky III” & “The Black Stallion Returns” in screen 2.
