The Central Theatre in the Manville part of Lincoln was opened by 1921 as the New Central Theatre. It ceased operations in 1953, and the building no longer exists.

The 1919 R.I. directory lists a Bijou Theatre for Manville but no address. I do not know if it was the same theatre as this one.
In February of 1935, the following film programs were on the Central screen between the 17th and the 23rd: The Gay Bride & White Lies, That’s Gratitude & Redhead, Bright Eyes (Shirley Temple) & Marie Gallant.
The 1949 Film Daily Yearbook gives the address of the Central as 85 Central Street and with a seating capacity of 600.
Item in Boxoffice magazine, November 21, 1942:
“The Central Theatre, Manville, R.I., has beeen sold by Napoleon J. Trahan to Henry M. Sperling, Woonsocket op-erator.”
