The Mt. Graham Shopping Center was announced in 1971 as a $2 million strip that included a Ben Franklin Store, an A.J. Bayless Grocer, a Revco, and a family-friendly, automated Jerry Lewis Cinema franchise. The cinema launched October 28, 1972 for James and Carol Collins. Mt. Graham would move from a single screen complex to a five-plex with the Sapphire Cineplex / Stargazer 5 Theatre (it has its own Cinema Treasures page). The Jerry Lewis Cinema became the Cinema 1 and was demolished in 2016 to provide extra parking space for the shopping center.

When the Mt. Graham Shopping Center had a facelift in 2016 the Jerry Lewis Theatre was demolished to extend parking.
