North Walterboro Drive-In

Located on Highway 17, the North Walterboro Drive-In opened its gates on November 24, 1953, and was first operated by E.B. Funderbunk and Keith M. Kinard.

Unfortunately, the theatre only operated for a few seasons. After closing in 1955, it was left abandoned. A few years later, it was demolished to make way for a trailer park and a race track. The race track was long gone though, but the former trailer park became a site of Palmetto Mobile Homes.
