Airdome

This airdome appears on the 1912 Sanborn, on a corner which had previously been vacant. Rather more elaborate than the ‘fenced-in-lot’ used by many such theaters, this was a two-story roofless wooden structure, rather like a church in plan.

By 1917, this structure had been replaced by four storefronts, one of which contained a cinema that may have been the successor to this operation.

The replacement buildings were recently torn down, and this is once again a vacant lot.
