Avenue

Sadly, the display of historic material relating to the earlier Picture House/Regent/Avenue (mentioned in the Overview) had not appeared by the time of my visit, in September 2025. Omniplex director Paul Anderson told me that, although images had been located, they were of insufficient quality. So if anyone does have good quality historic images, he would love to hear from them!

Paul very kindly gave me an introduction to the manager at The Avenue, Conor, who was very hospitable, giving me full tour. I then settled down to enjoy “The Roses” in Screen 8!
