Located in the city centre on Hertford Street, just below the General Post Office and near the Empire Theatre. The Electric Theatre was the first cinema to operate in Coventry. It was housed in the former Clements Auction Rooms and opened in 1910. In 1913 it was rename Star Cinema. It was closed in 1923.
The building was later used as Luckman’s music shop and then the West Bromwich Building Society. It was last used as a cash & carry store which was still open in 2009.
