1. Howard Crane architectural sketching of the Broadway Theatre in 1920. Conceptualized as the Broadway to replace its neighbor, the first Broadway continued operation for almost ten years so later drawings called the project the James Theatre. Upon opening, it was the Loew’s Broad Theatre but would return to the James Theatre nameplate.
